They find homes for abandoned cats and dogs in New York City and throughout the Tri-State area, and provide behavior intervention when needed to improve chances of adoption. I got Biscotti, Mishkeen, Pignoli, Panna Cotta, Tortoni, Fettuccine Alfredo, Pesto and Gnocchi through them.
Best Friends Animal Society
Best Friends Animal Society, founded in its present form in 1993, is a nonprofit animal welfare organization. The group does outreach nationwide with shelters, rescue groups and members to promote pet adoption, no-kill animal rescue, and spay-and-neuter practices. They get an honorable mention from me as I have not adopted through them…yet.
